New to yotatech
Hi All
Yes I'm a newbie! I got my first 4runner, a 3rd gen, in February and love it.
I have used this site to search for answers to questions and to learn about the amazing amount of mods possible.
What promted me to finally sign up was an ABS warning light that came on yesterday. After searching this site I found info on how to check the speedsensor before dropping it of to the dealer/stealer. I am not mechanically inclined but I tried checking the sensors anyway and now the ABS light if off again. So I am pretty happy
Thanks for a great forum.
Carsten

<96 Runner> Welcome to the forum, and please do us all a favor and start modding that bad boy!
Thanks guys
Well - I can't do much of a lift as the 4runner barely fits under the garage door with the current tires (265/70 I think) and my kayak rack on top
But I am getting interested in the deckplate or ISR mods, roof rack, stronger bumper ...... NEED MORE MONEY
Thanks guys

Welcome!
Hey Roadtrpr! Welcome to the Forum! This place is an awesome place that has great people, who have a lot of experience and knowledge about their vehicles. I'm glad that you were able to get the info that you needed to fix your problem.......by-the-way, nice job on using the 'Search' function to research your problem. Most newbies just post rather than doing a search......you did it like a pro and were rewarded!!!

Verry nice
Find a website that hosts images for free and then you can use whatever link in the [IMG] button.
I think better instructions can be found in the FAQ

You have to dig a little, here's what I found.
Excuse the (*)s. I use them to disable the code.
Adding Images
To include a picture or graphic within the body of your message, you can simply surround the address of the image as shown here:
[img*]https://www.yotatech.com/forums/images/vBulletin_logo.gif[/img]
Note that the [url*]http://[/url] part of the image URL is required for the [img] code.
You can even create a thumbnail-type hyperlink by surrounding your [img] code with a [url] code like this:
[*url=ht*tp://w*ww*.yotatech.com/images/vBulletin_logo.gif][img*]ht*tp://w*ww*.yotatech.com/images/vb_bullet.gif[/img*][/url*]

Okay, that's just confusing.
Go to FAQ - click on the link that reads:
Are there any special codes/tags I can use to format my posts and messages?
and then click on the link that goes into more detail about vB code.
That should answer your questions.

Welcome to the forum!
You can also sign up for a Webshot's account.
Normally the pics won't show up here, as they lose advertising revenue, unless we go to your site which has the ads.
There is a work around for that by adding an URL to the front of the URL for your picture.
The post on how to do that is here somewhere.
I will be adding the info later to a page I have setup on how to post pictures here.

Do people use the thumbnail method as a workaround for webshots hosting?

Here is the info on how to post a Webshot's pic right into your post show it shows up.
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...light=webshots
When I get time, I'll update that picture page I linked above with the info from the post.
