New truck photos, poser shots
Here's some pics of the new rig. I'm posing pretty hard, but I had that back tire fully extended. It was pretty cool.

Thanks! I traded in my 01 Tacoma 2.7L on monday for this 03 TRD. Wow, what a difference. The fogs are Hella Optilux 2020 driving and fog lights. They are part of Hella's "cheap" models, I think, but you can find them on the hella websight under Optilux. I bought them from performanceproducts.com when they were on sale.
The dog is one of three that are back there. The dalmation is actually my girlfriend's, and I have two others both golden retriever crosses.

I REALLY wouldnt mind having a truck like that. Nice. I need to find one that comes with a girlfriend or do they come running, once you got them dogs in the back, and the system bumpin'?

My buddy has a black one identical to mine. It looks pretty good, but I prefer the jade.

Thanks for the info on the fogs, much appreciated.
As a follow-up, do you like them? Also, I noticed the grills in front of them...did you fab them up or is it a production item? I love the idea and want to do something similar.
If its something you fabbed and it wouldn't be a pita, close-up pics would be great.

Yeah, I like them. The fogs are the best feature, the driving lights don't exactly turn night into day like i would want. I have upgraded the 55W H3's to 100W H3's, but the problem is that they don't point at a very good angle when I have the fogs aimed like I want. The driving lights sort of point upward so they wash out during normal driving instead of hitting the road. If I'm in the woods or somewhere where I've got tall things in front of me, they do pretty well because the light becomes useful instead of washing out. The grills are just a ghetto fab I came up with using hardware cloth from the local hardware store. Here's a close up from my old truck, but I installed them pretty much the same on the new one. I actually spread them out a bit on the new truck so I could fit the license plate in the normal spot. I had to saw the plastic posts on the black plastic on the truck to do it.
I found something here that seems like a similar product.

Glad to hear you like them. I had been looking at the 2020 and the FF75 (fog only) because they looked like they would fit nicely in there.
FF75's
Sounds like I will be spending the extra $25 on the FF75's and worry about driving lights later.
Nice job on the grill's. Low $ and keeps the rocks out.
Again, the info is greatly appreciated.

No prob. For the grills, I just used one screw to secure them to the top. Yeah, get some nice fogs because they do well mounted down there. I think they look slick, too. You will probably have to saw the plastic posts to fit the lights and the license plate. You'll see what posts I mean if you take a look, they don't do anything important.
