New Truck

My pickup died again, and I finally gave up on it. There is some small problem with it that I have not been able to track down after almost 5 months and lots of money, so it's time to move on. Bought a 1993 4x4 pickup today for $3500. Some minor body dings and scrapes, but no rust and only 76k miles. This will be a daily driver as I am in the process of purchasing an FJ40 for a trail rig. I will be swapping over some of the parts from my old truck, and I'll post here when I start parting out the rest of the truck before junking it. It's too dark here now but I'll try to post a pic of the new truck tomorrow. Hopefully this one brings me better luck.

Maybe if us 2nd gen guys are lucky enough we might be able to get some of the pink parts off the old one when he parts it out.

Congrats on the new ride. That's some low miles for being 11 years old.

Sounds like you just bought the same thing as me this week. Unfortunately for me, you got a much better deal on yours and I'm starting to have buyers remorse....ack! Good luck with your new truck!

Forgot to take a pic yesterday. Here it is. Nothing special, just a stock 93. Tires are pretty bad and I don't think my 31's will fit from the old truck, so I'll have to get something else, but that's probably the only change I'll do to the looks for a while.

I was just remembering that my 31" MTs rubbed pretty bad on the old truck before the lift. I was thinking that with the stock fenderwells and mud flaps on this one it would be really bad, but if I don't wheel this truck like I'm thinking, I should be fine.
