New Trick learned when replacing Starter
Ive now done 2 starters on my truck.....three years ago it took me 6 hours to wiggle and squirm to get the starter out of the tiny nook that it fits into.
Yesterday i removed the rubber splash gaurd inside the passenger fender well...and what did i discover.....
There are 4 10mm bolts that hold on a small metal access panel that bolts flush with the inside fender well......WOW... enough room to wiggle the starter in and out....the job - start to finish took an hour...
Learn new things about this truck all the time...

It easy to get to the bolts by taking the front skid plate off anf using an extension too.I couldn't get any movment with the ratchet in the access panel.
