new suspention woes...when will the shocks settle??
Gumbo and I put my lift on last Sunday (front SAW racerunners with a diff drop, and rear Old Man Emu OMEN86/OME891 with the 10MM trim packer (and I did not put back in the stock bumper cone...I do not know if I should have left that out or not) ...I cant figure out why my drivers side is half an inch higher then my pax side rear...I put the longer spring in the drivers side like I should have....
Also, how far does the rear settle? Right now they are over an inch higher (from top of the wheel well to the ground) then the fronts...but I was waiting for them to settle before I re-set the fronts.

the rears may not settle... they will, over time... but the rear on most trucks is swept higher than the front....
i did a torsion bar twisit on my truck.... it was level when i first did it, but a motnh later, the drivers side was about an inch lower... so i cranked it up a little bit, and dropped the right side down a little bit and all is level

No worry, it should settle within 2 weeks. I had the same problem too, the driver side was an inch higher than the passenger side too. It made me upset and disappointed. But it settle evenly after 2 weeks. I was like jumping up and down happily like a little kid Just be patient, if it doesn't the trim packer will come into play. Good luck buddy

Ok, Here is what I did last weekend. I took the springs out in the rear and yes, I did have them in the right way to begin with ( Longer one on driver's side). I took out both 10MM trim packers. Put back in both factory bumper cones. and added one 10MM trip packer to the driver's side top spring. I am still higher on the pax side but not as bad as what it used to be. Hardly noticeable with Mk.2 Eyeball.
I also cranked up my SAWs so I am sitting about 1/2 IN lower in the front then the back which is fine with me. I like that look better then the ass low look.
Now all I need is another alignment, a 1in body lift and 285/75/16s and I'll be good until I get the mony for lockers and TJM bar.
BTW, Those damn SAWs are a royal BITCH to crank after a while!!! Holy cow!! I was using gloves and my hands are still bruised a week later.
