New Suspension Idea? What do you think?

Ok Ok....so I've really been thinking about this. I want the Sonoran Steel lift for my Tacoma but I don't deem it necessary for what I use my truck for...

See this post if you want the backstory....

http://www.yotatech.com/f123/what-li...ntains-153693/

I'm thinking that I don't need new coils as my ride height is good. I'm going to double check it tomorrow when I'm on flat ground though. I may add a leaf in the back of the truck to compensate for my camper cover if the height is different in the rear opposed to up front. I haven't really noticed any sagging though, just a "bouncier" ride.

As for shocks...I'm thinking the Bilstein 5100 Adjustables from Wheelers Offroad. I'll leave them on the setting that will give me no lift right now and if I upgrade to a heavier bumper I'll have around 2.5 inches if lift to play with later on down the road.

With no lift and new shocks I think my suspension woes will be taken care of. I can also get out WAY cheaper than a lift kit or something to that nature (Which is unnecessary for my truck anyway) which will allow me to do my Tundra Brake Upgrade faster and also get my 16 inch procomp wheels and mount 265/75 16 tires on there quicker as I won't break the bank fixing my suspension.

This will allow me to keep my gas mileage about the same, keep my power and torque the same. No lift = less wear and tear on the truck. I won't have to regear. My truck will handle better and I'll be able to get more things accomplished (Tundra Brakes/New Wheels) as I'll have money in the bank from not doing a full-on lift right now.

BUT....if I want to lift it later on down the road I'll have that option with the 5100 shocks.

What do you think??

As for a "lift" I'm not too sure. As for custom bumpers that will require some lift for weight compensation. As soon as I get the money, December I'd guess.
