New Shiftknob!

So i was sitting at home yesterday thinking of cheap and easy stuff i could get done while being bored on my fall break. Well... this since i play baseball in college right now, this is what got the best of me!

Very simple to do, maybe took about 5 minutes. Hope you enjoy!

Looks sweet. Did you drill out a hole then glue in a metal threaded tube? I'm going to do this but with one of those mini baseball we use for a drill that trains you to keep your eye on the ball. They are a little less than half the size of a real ball.

Actually i just drilled out the hole a size smaller than the shifter. Then sorta wedge it on. Between the leather of the cover and the core inside it made for a nice snug fit on it.

haha, nice.

My buddy did this with pool balls. You can get a thread kit, and drill out the hole, then thread it, and will screw right on like a regular shift knob.

I'm still trying to find a Navy blue shifter knob with Gold Aviator wings like the Harmon Rab character on the old JAG TV show had in his 70's Crimson Red 'vette.

Anybody got any ideas/seen them?

I May have to send David James Elliott a fan letter, or else send one to Belasarious [production co.] **cringe** lqtm
