Question A new noise - oh joy!!!!

Well, a new noise has decided to appear and I'm unsure of what it is.

The other day on my way to church (yes, I do go) I took an unimproved road for about 1/2 mile (no thanks to mapquest). When I hit pavement again I started to get a scraping/grinding noise when ever I turned the wheel to the right. I get back out of church and the noise had faded away to bearly aubile until I hit the dirt road again and it once again is a little more proment. By the time I get home the noise is gone.

Today, after doing some tooling around on a newly found dirt road the noise was again aubile once I hit pavement this time and turn right the noise became more pronounced and lasted for a longer period of time before fading away.

I'm just wondering what would cause this noise. Could it be a wheel bearing? Nothing is leaking or appears to be broken underneath.

Did you pray that it go away? Or did it go away by itself?

sometimes i like to just turn the radio up, then when it seizes/brakes it's easy to find lol. not the best of ideas. Usually when i hear noises like that i just have someone stand outside the car and listen while i drive.

Pulled the wheel off yesterday to give it once over and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Everything looked to be fine, ball joints look a little worn though.

Haven't heard the noise either the past few days, maybe I'll hit up a trail and see if it comes back.
