NEW MOD! Pics

I put this over in the 4X4 section, but it may be better viewed as a general mod for increasing lighting around vehicle- great for parking, awesome for offroading at night. Check it out...

Well, they are yellow- they're fog lights, so they should provid more diffuse light close up. Driving lights would have been too focused and would have lit up only a small area. I could make them pink if that would make you happier...

I noticed how concintrated the light is too, what about using the $15 "tractor" lights at auto zone? There have to be lights that diffuse light a little better, maybe Rob will chime in on this one...?

I think the pictures may be a bit misleading, since they were taken when it was still a bit light outside. The background light caused the pictures to only show the most concentrated area from the rocklights. Part of the issue is space- there isn't a ton of room, so the smaller lights allow you to still point and aim. I'll try to take some pics tonight in true darkness. Rob actually runs a total of eight lights if I'm not mistaken, one on either side of the tire. You can see on mine that I only could illuminate one side. However, since the wiring is already in place, it would be easy enough to splice in another couple of sets, since the bulk of the wire runs are already in place. Here's a picture of Rob's lights from a night run we did a while back:
