New Magnaflow muff

Just got back from Big Al's. They hooked me up with a Magnaflow XL (# 13215) for $69.95 + $5 for clamps and weld.

It sounds great and I'm really happy with the price. The universal wide-open Magnaflow (# 11225) was a bit more expensive and they would have had to order it. The guy also told me those were louder than the XL's. I'm not sure I'd like it any louder than it is now.

Hopefully I'll be able to get some sound clips soon...

Nice. What engine do you have? If you have the 3.4, Corey should be putting up my write-up on the ISR mod for the 96/97's shortly (hint hint).

Yeah I've got the 3.4L. The ISR and deckplate mods have been on my list for a while... just haven't gotten around to them yet.

I'll keep an eye out for the writeup.

I got my Magnaflow yesterday, very nice muffler indeed. That combined with the header makes a real nice sound and a small perf boost on my 4 banger.

Working on a design for a nice intake pipe for the ISR on the 2.7L, should be sometime next week when I finally do it. I just cant decide on what material to use.. I dont have welding skillz so a custom welded job is out, unless I pay someone to do it.
