new lift

Before

After

ome 882, top out spacer, ome 891, all ome shocks, 1" body lift. For everyone that says the rear is the hard part, your lieing! Me and my dad had a fun time compressing the 882's with autozone spring compressers that diddnt really fit lol All in all wasnt to difficult, ride is 100 times better than stock. But after the lift almost all my ball joint boots starting leaking grease. Is this common after a lift? Truck has 203k on it to

The rear is always going to be easier when you're compressing the front springs yourself.

The truck looks great! Congrats.

Looks good, how are the 882's with the top out spacer? More importantly, how are you CV's? That's a lot of lift in the front with no bumper there.

My ball joints did the same thing after I upgraded to 99 springs. I've got 160K miles on mine.

good call, i didn't even check for that. I'm just so used to seeing the 4x4's being lifted that i assumed it was also. wish i could have mine that tall in front!

Nice looking rig! 882's are the perfect 3" lift spring for those of us without a heavy front bumper.

Yes it does. 882's are catered to 4-wheelers so maybe it's a weight issue being 2WD?
