Need some hubs
Ok-where to start. I have an 87 4runner. I just bought and am going through all the systems on it. It only 84k miles on it. She didnt drive it very much!!
My left front wheel bearing is a little loose. I have a little play in the assembly. I have the auto hubs. Reading all the posts about the auto hubs, I guess this would be a good time to change them to manual hubs. Could someone please tell me where to buy these? I am lookign for a good shop that sells Toyota Parts or GOOD qaulity parts.
Here is what I need.
Set of manual hubs
Front rotors
Front pads, Toyota only pads.
Rear drums
Rear shoes

;You can by aftermarket ones like Warn or Milemarker but most people here will steer you to the Aisins. Start looking at local junkyards and checking Ebaymotors.

If you get Aisin hubs, you don't want to buy them new, they are over $400.
Most buy them used, and follow the posts on here with the links to articles on tearing them down and regreasing them.
I have links on my homepage on how to break them down to clean, and regrease them.
We now have two articles up in the Tech section on putting on manual hubs on IFS rigs.
One is for the Aisin hubs, the other is for the Warns.
Places to get them from.

The above link stocks them pretty much all the time I hear.
