need some help on a couple of ECM circuits

hey guys. thought I would venture into the 96-04 forums to pick your guys brain that know these Tacomas and Runner better.

Background....I have a 92 pickup that has been swapped with a 97 Runner 3.4 and 340F auto.

Now I am ready to swap the auto for a manual from a Taco and also swapping the ECM to a 95.5 Taco ECM.

I spent a few hours tracing all the wires through the factory electronic wiring diagrams and everything was fairly straight forward. Most of wires are the same and even mostly the same colors.

However, there are two circuits that i do not find on my 97 Runner diagrams that are on my 95.5 Taco diagrams.

planning the conversion to 5speed and going through my EWD's again. Damn i thought that i was done with these.

Anyway, I came across two circuits on the 95.5 Taco that are not on the 97 Runner motor/ecm that i currently am using.

1st - FPU (fuel pump up) this apprently is an output to a vsv that activates something.

2nd - ACV (AC Idle Up) this would assumingly kick up the idle when the ac compressor is turned on.

I am not an expert on this motor, and maybe I missed these things but I do not think that I have them on my 97 Runner motor but it seems odd that the Tacos would have them and not the Runners?

Anyone help me out on what these VSV looks like, where they are, and can i run without them without poor performance?

I can have no CEL lights for smog reason here in California either. Will either of these trigger a CEL?

Thanks for any insight that can be offered!!!
