Need Lifting Options???

I Want to keep my stock rims and 31" tires. Would ball joint spacers and fj80 coils look right? How much lift would this add? OR how should I just lift the rear to match the front? I would like about 2" or so lift. :wtf:
As you can see in my avatar that my butt is sagging a good bit.

well if your only look for 2" then the land cruiser fj80 coil springs are not for you. i just installed mine land night and its huge! gonna try and get the ball joint spacers in tonight once i get out of this "work" place. i'd say if your just looking for about 2" then go for the Downey coils. look for a thread hopefully tomorrow for pics with the LC coils and bj spacers!

Hey Kevywevy you didn't wait for me

How'd it go? Did you use the shortside or longside coils? You still want to help me with mine? I got everything I need now.

yeah, it was kinda a spur of the moment thing. pretty much because i decided to just go with the one set of coils that i had. so i used one short and one long. you can barely tell! seeing how there was only a 1/2" of a difference.

i just wanna leave this godawful place (work) so that i can go put my ball joint spacers on!!! and sure i'll still help ya with yours. wont be able to use my place though, i've got a feeling my mom isn't gonna like me lifting it! hahahahahahahaha shes gone this weekend, another reason that it was a spur of the moment thing! still trying to get a angle grinder for tonight though.

oh and do you have stock wheels? if so are they the steel or alloy? i had to get new wheels cause my stock steel ones would have rubbed on the upper control arm once i got the bj spacers in.

hahahahaha. got it all done finally. just make sure that when you get an angle grinder, get a 4 or 4 1/2" one. the 7" one that i used was way to big. it made it really hard to get in there. i guess we might be able to do it at my dad's place next weekend. im house sitting his place next weekend. i might be able to get a floor jack, buy you'll have to bring an angle grinder. i'll still have david's spring compressors and i think i'll have everything else. oh yeah, bring a can of pb blaster. let me know if that works out. you can must messege me.

Post spacer options and bumper suggestions

I was wondering what the best option for spacers is... I have a '98 limited 4runner with a tacoma rancho lift in the front, and old man emu springs and rancho shocks in the back... i only get a little rubbing flexed out on the trail with 285/75 BFG ats on stock rims, but i want a little more. do you need to drop the control arms in the front if i go higher with spacers???

also, i wanted to know which front bumper yall recommend - ARB or TJM... does anyone make a good rear bumper, and what do they cost? any feedback would be appreciated. thanks

Hmmmm... don't know much about the 3rd gens. I don't think you can go wrong with ARB or TJM. Get the cheaper one

I don't know if I can get an angle grinder though. I can check with some friends, but I don't have one of my own. Where's the best place for PB Blaster?

Also, it'll have to be Saturday cuz I'll probably work Sunday. Will that work?

hmmmm i work saturday, but im not sure till what time. probably 12:30 but i'll have to check. as for the angle grinder, maybe check with shane here on yotatech and see if you can borrow his. i borrowed my neighbor's but it was way too big. made it a lot harder. you can just get PB blaster at napa or schucks.

and don't forget a good floor jack.
