Need Help Wiring PIAA Fog Lamps
I just bought some PIAA 510's for my '99 4Runner and mounted them to the brush guard. I have done everything successfully but don't know how to wire the switch to a proper power source. I just have no clue where to begin... I would like to wire it so I have the freedom of turning them on whenever I want with or without the headlamps on. Can someone please explain to me step-by-step where to run the wire and how to connect it. I'm completely lost. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

if you want to do it simple, run 12ga wire to the switch and then back otu to the lights... be sure to have seperate wires for each light..... if you want to do it with a relay, go to the forum.... PM me if you want real good details.. or go to the tech section and look under off road lights

Before someone advises you to use the search feature I'll give you what I know. Just FYI, search is VERY reliable but you'll get swamped in everything.
Fortunately for you PIAA has all the wiring harnesses pretty well organized. If your wiring is like mine this should be pretty simple.
Connect the switch assembly to your relay assembly. The spare wire you have left from the switch is your switch power. This determines if you will be able to turn on your lights regardless of whether or not your truck is on. Wire this up to the positive terminal of your battery and you'll be set.
Everything else is pretty self explanatory. Black is ground - attach anywhere to the chassis of your rig or the negative terminal of your battery. White with the in-line fuse will go to the positive terminal.
If you plan on adding any more electrical mods to your rig, I strongly suggest you head over to the tech section:

Might want to hang around and look at what else is there. Lots of cool stuff

I run power to my PIAA lamps from the parking light assembly next to the battery. Easy to get to, etc. Remove the parking light assembly, attach the small power source wire on the PIAA wiring harness to the green wire on the parking light bulb and you are done.
