Need help... will 16x8 rims give me much of a wider stance? Pics would be great!
My tires now are basically 10.5" on a 7" rim so they really bulge in the middle, not to mention rubbing issues. And the stock 16x7's I have just look too skinny for my taste when standing directly in front of or behind my rig. They don't seen to really fill out the flares even. (I really miss my '91 with 33x12.5's on 15x10's )
My question is what have you guys experience with afermarket 16x8 rims? I'm thinking Ivan Stewarts, or even some Enkei's that I think justinh had for sale. But I'm torn. Or would a set of 1-1.5" spacers front and back cut it?cut it?
Does anyone have pics straight on from the front or back so I can see the stance?

16X8 w/ the right back spacing is just what you need. No spacers. I run the AR teflon Victor and have ZERO rubbing issues on and off road. Even the LC or lx450 wheels will be . I know that bamachem has no issues and I know that mine are PERFECT. Sell the stockers to offset the cost of new wheels. It will cost around half if you go that route

Thanks for the quick reply!
Selling my stock rims is kind of what I had in mind, I think like you . What kind of back spacing number should I be looking for exaclty?
