Need help with stereo system install
I have my system ready to go but need help with how I should install it. I know how but want some direction so I don't mess it up. Heres what ive got:
*160 watt Pioneer deck
*300 watt tweets
*unk watt front mids
*unk watt rear mids
*1800 watt Xblod amp (LOL)
*1000 watt Xblod 12" woofer (LOL)
*1800 watt amp install kit
So I know this isnt the best set up but its what ive got to work with. Thoughts, ideas, options?
**Concern** I have been wondering how to run my rear 2 channels from the deck. Do I run the left channel to both rear mids and leave the right channel for my woofer? Or is there another way? Help! LOL

In theory, you COULD run all 4 regular speaker channels from your deck. However, it would be seriously underpowered. Do you have crossovers for your tweets? If you do, all you have to do is wire one channel to the crossover, and it'll power both the tweets, and mids. I SERIOUSLY DOUBT it will sound anywhere near desireable if you run those speakers off your head unit.
How many pre-out's does your deck have? If it has 3- wire your sub's RCA's to the S/W out on the deck. If it has 2, wire it to the rear outs.
I seriously suggest you get a 4 channel amp to run all of your speakers, It will make all the difference in the world. No joke.

OK..here is what I would do if I HAD to.
Run your front speakers off of the two front channels on the amp. Period.
Run your rear two speakers off of the deck.
Run your subwoofer bridged on the rear 2 channels of the amp if it can handle the power. If not, just use one channel.
MAYBE MAYBE MAYBE you can run both the front and rear speaks off the front channels of the amp. This is entirely the WRONG way to do it, but it might just work.
I'd say get another amp for your sub, and use that xBlod to run the speaks.
best of luck!

your tweets/front mids should count as only 2 channels. If you have a crossover, which you should. I can promise you that your deck doesn't put enough power into those mids (22watts rms).
I'm sure your amp is rated at those 450 watts at 1 ohm..maybe 2
