Need help removing the door trim panel.

Need help removing the driver side door trim panel. I have to install a new window. All the clips are loose, it seems that the interior door latch is what keeping me from removing the trim panel. Has anyone ever removed it? The handle has one screw, which I removed. It seems to hang on the latch, Im stuck!!!! :

Pull the door handle open slightly and remove the backplate ( the one with the screw)
then, it looks like you need to remove the armrest (held on by 2 screws).
Then it will come off. Some work is sometimes needed to remove it from the window opening, it is held on with clips. shouldnt be too hard to figure out.
good luck.

Thanks seaflea, I will try that, the armrest is loose. It actually stays with the trim panel but is loose from the frame. I will keep trying!!!

The plastic trim piece has a little tab in front which holds against the door panel. When you take off the small phillips screw, you need to pull the door handle while sliding the plastic trim piece back a little and then it will come out.
