need help dx my motor, crazy sound
found this today, along with a loud metalic sound. just changed my belts a few days ago, tried to turn the harmonic ballancer by hand. no slop what so ever. is my motor shot? know I need to do timing belt/water pump..need help trouble shooting. WHAT COULD IT BE?
Looked at yota yard, they do have a couple of motors there..really don't want to do a emergency motor swap.

So after much thinking, I decided on just dropping in a different motor. Called Yota yard, picked this up with 170,xxx miles and $800 bucks. parts were like 2-3 hundred bucks for the timing belt/water pump.. then not sure if there was damage. I called the best yota mech in town. week out and 650 bucks... Clutch has been paid for, trying to hook up a cherry picker, and need to get fly wheel machined. enjoy prob going to be alot of motor swap pics comming.
