Lost some old info...and need help.

I have a 99 4Runner and I am about to install a procomp 4inch front lift and putting in LC coils/shocks on the rear... I need longer brake lines.

Help!!! Need info to what I need and where I can buy them.

Call these folks and they can do custom lines for you. I have had good luck with them. Take a look at your ends first so you know what kind you need (toyota female/male, etc...)

You can take off your brake line and take it to a brake line place where they can tell what you have and find you a longer one.

I have no idea what it is.

One question. Does anyone know if the Tacomas use the same type of brake line and connections as the 4runners? 3rd generation. I need to extend the front....

is this lift your putting on a drop bracket lift? why do you want more lift than you have now? You gonna run 35's or are you just having CV problems?

I sorta want to go with a higher system without messing with the CV's. My angles are "ok" now, but I would rather the CV's be at factory level, with this procomp lift they will be back... I got the lift for a really good price so that helped with my decision too.

This system is the 4inch ProComp lift built for Tacomas IFS. I am only using the front portion and placing long LC Coils with shocks in the rear (and adjustable panhard).

Should be installed next week, so hopefully all goes well.

For some reason too, I still had alittle rub on my fender flares with my 285's on the front, so I had to remove my front flares that were mounted on the front bumper...with this lift, I should be able to reinstall those flares due to the added height.

man that is a permanent decision no? I have heard many people not liking theirs due to the extremely rough ride.

Well sort of... If the ride is really horrible (which my current spacers are pretty stiff now) I will switch back....but it would have to be REALLY BAD for me to do that.

( I have some good welding buddys that should be able to put things back together, just in case.)

Mine rides 10x better than it did with OME coils up front...I'm starting to hit the bumpstops offroad so I'm actually getting some tundra coils to stiffen it up a little bit.

The rear... well, thats a different issue. Its a little stiff, but, Ive started to get used to it.

As for the brake lines. I used All-pro's. I had to buy some banjo fittings to make them work, but, it was no big deal. Do yours just thread directly into the caliper? If so, you dont need the banjos. The ones sent from all pro needed banjo bolts to connect them.
