Mysterious Wire
Im in a middle of a sound deadening project, similar to Bob's Writeup of sound deadening project outlined in his awesome site www.4runners.org.
Anyways i accidentally snapped this wire and i have no idea where to reconnect it so i can repair, solder it and heat shrink it. This wire initially was tape and lined to straight across the trunk. The wire begins from the tail light controller box in the rear driver area. Right behind of the driver side tail light. The end part is where i'm lost or possibly blind. I cant seem to find the it's respective connection point. I don't see any wire shards or whatnot.
Enclosed is 2 pictures of the wire in question.
Thanks for your help guys.

Do your taillights still work? I doesn't look like anything is coming out of that insulation. Did you cut it back and see if the wire was broken or capped off?

Yeah my psgr tails are not working braking wise. But i Its only one wire inside the insulation. However the wires leading to the psgr tail light appear to be fine.

thats what it looks like to me, but it should just go straight up the right side of the vehicle, not across the cargo deck.
the washer fluid is the brown looking line in the second pic, just below the rear window.
i would make sure all your rear lights work, brake, parking, turn, reverse.
also check the hitch wiring harness for those things. it might be part of the harness for the hitch.
