My turn signal is blinking too fast. What should I check?

I've only seen this happen on old jalopies. As of this evening, my precious 4runner is doing it! The left turn signal display on the dash flashes at a much faster frequency than normal. The left rear turn signal flashes at the same wacky rate, while the left front turn signal does nothing. Any ideas?

Replace the bulb that does nothing. Mine did the same thing. It's just that the bulb not blinking is burnt out.

If the bulb change dosen't fix it look for some funky trailer wiring harness issues.

:pat: Fellas, it simply means one of your turn signals is out. Since only half the voltage being sent is used (only 1 bulb, since one is dead) it will blink twice as fast. Simply replace the bulb and all will be normal.
