My Runner is leaving....

Well I just got back from Turkey to find out that my wife got into Law school with a full ride. I thought that was great. Now I can spend all that money on the Runner not her school. But wait...Now she wants to take the Runner back with her so she won't have to get a new car in the states. Now I am going to be stuck over here in Germany with a POS 1989 BMW 316i. I'm going to miss my Runner. But atleast I can save up alot of money to spend on her, the Runner that is not the wife, when I go home on leave. I just wanted to vent. I am still going to be posting on the fourms so don't think you got rid of me that easy.

It's good to hear that things are going good for your family. My wife and I went through a few separations over the years. They were always for work or school reasons. You're doing the right thing by sending her with the 4Runner. I'm sure you want her to have safe, reliable transportation while stateside.

As for the Bimmer, do a little touring while over there. You'll look very european driving Europe's version of the Chevrolet.

Well it just gives you more time to save for mods, and you'll like the 4Runner that much more when you can drive it again!

Thumbs up

Sad to hear your 4runner leaving...but like they said you can save up money and appreciate it even more when you do get back reunited with your 4runner. As for the bimmer, give it a good wax and go driving down the road like you own the place!!!

Toyota built a few trucks in Germany with our 2nd gen body style, double cab, and a diesel engine. I even think a lot ot the diesel technology was from VW and allowed it to qualify as a German domestic product.
