My New Stereo
Well I went ahead and did it, I just ordered my new stereo tonight for my truck. I'm not going to get an amp or a sub for a while, and I've been really wanting to upgrade the stereo in my truck since I bought it (The stock stereo is terrible ) So I went with what a few people on here suggested for the reciever, and I spent a few hours tonight listening to different speakers at the different stereo shops in my area, and this is the setup I decided on (I was fairly limited by the speaker size, and my limited knowledge of car stereos, so I was looking for stuff that I could just plug and play pretty much )
So here's my setup...
Reciever:
Kenwood KDC-MP522
Speakers (Front):
JBL GTO635 6-1/2" 3-way Speakers
Speakers (Rear):
JBL GTO925 6"x9" 2-way Speakers
And on top of that, I'm getting a free Kenwood Sirius Satelite Radio Tuner because Crutchfield is running a promotion where if you buy a Kenwood Reciever that's Sirius Ready and a Sirius Satelite Antenna, you get the Kenwood Satelite Radio Tuner for Free. So I figured what the heck I've been wanting to get Satelite Radio for a while now, so I thought I'd do it at the same time, especially since it's pretty much free.
If you all want, I'll take pictures of the install, and what the finished product looks like (Even though it will be in my Xterra) and I'll definitely let you all know how the system is after I install it, so I'm anxious to see if Crutchfield's shipping is as fast as they say it is
