My new 1987 Toyota pickup

I recently picked up a 1987 Toyota pickup that has the SAS and bobbed bed, 5.29's, Longfield birfs and chromo axles, 15x10 beadlocks, 38.5" Super Swamper TSL SX's hydro assist steering and a new Grant GT steering wheel (I installed that yesterday). I am waiting for my Mig welder to show up, and I am planning on making my own sliders first, and then bumpers to follow. I haven't had the time to take it to the trail yet, but here are a couple pics. The first was emailed to me by the previous owner, and the other one, well shows just how tall the truck is. I am 5'7" and the truck barely fits into the garage, as there is less than an inch to spare. More pics to follow when I get out on the trail.

That thing is huge. Does this mean that your not going to do the SAS on the 94? Or did you already have it done before you left last time?

Yeah I bought it from Jared "Snow Trooper." Before they closed out the thread, I has posted "SOLD. It's mine now." I am still planning on doing the SAS on the 94. I have been gathering the tools that I will need for the SAS and metal fabrication. Now I need to build up my skills so that I can build up the 94. You know I hadn't ridden or driven a leaf sprung truck in a while, and this one rides fairly rough especially on the bumps. It's pretty fun to drive and it can actually get up to speed on the freeway pushing the 38.5" tires. The wheel is kinda squirrelly though, and the tires wander a lot. Can't wait to get it on the trail. It needs armor though, as it really doesn't have any bumpers to speak of. I also want to make my own sliders so that I have rocker protection but mostly to have something to stand on to get into the truck.
