On another site A few years ago we were trying to figure out how to replace the cup holder tabs and I came up with the idea of using a mouse pad. It works perfect! Mine have been there for a few years now and they look and work like new. You have to remove your council to git to and remove the old one. Cut some new ones out of the mouse pad and install. Very easy and look great!
Nice looking truck! I have the 01 extra cab and love it. No major problems at all.Mike

That is brilliant to use a mouse pad to replace those fingers! Definitely going to do that when I get home.

How complicated is removing the console to where you can replace the fingers?

Nate, I think the 01's were included in the ball joint recall a couple of years ago.

You may wanna have your VIN checked with a dealer...

That reminds me...I need to get that done.

It's easy to do and a good idea anyway. Never know what you may find under or in there and it's a good time to give it all a good cleaning. Mike
