My Alt Alternator Fuse wont stop blowing I need help !!
First note, I read through all the material I could before I posted this.
Ok I've had my runner now for about 3 years with no problems, my wife is at work and says she had to get a jump to get home, no big deal. I find that the battery didnt hold the charge on the way home so I replace the battery. I go to hook up the new battery and the EFI, DOME LIGHT, and the ALT 100A fuse all blow. I think it is the alternator grounding out so I replace the alternator and put new fuses in and hook the battery back up. This time it blows the ALT 100A fuse and the DOME LIGHT. I think that there is a ground out some where in the wiring harness from the battery to the Alternator but I am not sure. Any one have any issues like this? Any one have any ideas. Please let me know. Thanks for your help.

Well, I am going through the same thing with my buddies Camry at the moment. A guy jumped on the hood, grounded the alternator while the car was running, and basically blew out the entire electrical system on the car. All the fuses seem to be OK though, and its getting annoying.
I'll let you know if I find anything.

Yeah I dont know how this happened. The battery just drained one day and now when I hook up a fresh battery it blows the fuses everytime. let me know how it goes.

I fixed it and for research sake I am going to post the answer just incase someone else needs an answer. I bought a battery with the posts reversed, very simple. I took the battery back and put in the correct one and everything works fine. Now I just have an extra alternator sitting on my shelf.
