Most body lift without other mods...

Most body lift without other mods...
Whats the most body lift I can put on a 2nd gen without having to do any other mods, like extending the steering or shifting?
I plan on getting a 2nd gen sometime soon, and I just want to do my research first.
Also, if my backend is sagging, can I get the 1" performance products shocks, AND, say an 1" of body lift, without any mods??
Wheres a good place to get a small body lift kit, like 1" for cheap?
Any suggestions, advice would be appreciated.

welcome to the forum. a guy named roger brown makes killer body lifts for toyotas. check out his site here
from what i hear, its good quality stuff. hopefully someone else will chime in. i dont think you will need any modifications with the 1 inch. you might need some with the 2inch, such as shifting, etc. good luck, and again, welcome to the forum

Roger Brown does the best body lifts. He makes them out of billet aluminum, not plastic like the mass producers. I'll be doing a RB 1" BL at some point.

I went with a 1.5 inch Roger Brown body lift because according to his website 2" or more involves shifter and steering mods. Over 2 inches you also get to play with the fuel tank filler neck and lines.
Granted I don't have a 2nd gen, or even a 4Runner. But the same rules apply to my stuff and yours on bodylifts.

Ill third Roger Brown. I have a 2inch BL on mine. had to extend steering, but that was it. All parts are included...just need a few sockets and a high jack. I have a third gen, but I hear his second gen stuff is good stuff. He's a great guy to work with too. I call him at midnight with random problems...he's always there to help.

I just ordered Downey HD springs from Mike at XtremeOffroad and an OME steering stabilizer. The Edelbrock IAS shocks are coming in from Performance Products. Mike said he couldn't match PP's price for the shocks - very honest businessman. I'll let you know how this cures the sagging rear end.
