Which model Lockright for my 97 4Runner

I think it is time for a locker and I can't quite do a selectable right now (budget) so I have decided to go the Lockright route for now. I was just wondering if you guys could tell me which model # to get and also a good place to buy. I done alot of searching about Lockrights but never really seen where anyone posted the model # or where they bought. Thanks in advance.

** Edit based on this link I would need the 1620. Now where to buy?

Man you sound like me! I just got my LC coils in today along with a 1" RB body lift. I am still waiting on my new shocks and the panhard drop bar. Sounds like we both have alot of work to do in a short amount of time.

I know you guys might not have the fab/welding skills I have, but I picked up an e-locker with the gears I wanted for $300.00

Less than 1000 miles on it. If you sniff around long enough, e-lockers for good deals can be found. Also they truly are really not that hard to retro fit. Drill a few holes and a little buzz buzz with the welder and it goes right in.

Inchworn has a full harness for 75 bucks. In my case 375 for a fully selectable e-locker. In my work truck...........

And a V6 open third for the front 1981 SA I have for it. I had a lockright back in 1998, it was brutal.

Thnaks for the info. Steve and I will still continue to look for a good deal on an E-Locker but until then the Lockright will have to do. I actually have a good friend that can weld and fab really good I just haven't been able to find a good price on an E-locker.

BTW... Did you ever find out anything on that handling fee from TJM? If I pick up will they still charge you for it or no? Just let me know I want to order one next month. Thanks

Yes I did. They will charge you the $18.00 but since I have an Arizona Resale License on file with them, they will not charge you tax.

I guess 3 or 4 vendors all called TJM for you so I assumed you got the info. Don't know if the other people have re-sale info on file though.
