Modded a vac line from intake to airbox
So the line from the plenum that goes from a metal tube to rubber above the timing cover and extends over to the bottom of the airbox is no more. I capped the air box end and purchased a K&N style breather. I put it on where the metal tub e ends. I also plugged the area where the tube goes from the drivers side valve cover to the TB hose. I put another breather there coming out of the valve cover. seems to have a few more balls now but that front breather is loud. I am wondering if there is any way to quiet that down without going back to factory tubing. Who else has done this mod?

Ben, I have done basicly the same thing except different. I just connected the hose that goes to the bottom and connected it to the top of the maf hose. As you know I still have the stock air filter set up. The bottom of the air box is cut off. Well hell your the one that cut it off. My only concern is water splashed off the fan like from those deeper frozen puddles. It's going to snow this week end. We had better get going before the snowmobliers turn everything to ice.
