MN Wheelin and Winching (couple pics)

Just got back from doing a little wheeling at a nearby stomping grounds. Even got to break out the winch cable (not that I couldn't have back down the hill, but where's the fun in that??). We saw a really cool CJ5 with rear wheel steering and SAW coil overs while we were there.
Here are a couple pics of me goofing off.

It looks sandy there?

I always like to wheel with the sun roof open too. It feels like I'm really outside.

I'm sure you had a blast!~

We got sand. We got mud. We even have big rocks, especially in northern MN. We just don't have BLM land so a lot of wheelin is on private property. There are a lot of trails in West Central WI (about 90 miles east of where I live) that are almost all sand (ancient glacial lake beaches). I still haven't made it to the new Iron Range Off Highway Park near Gilbert, but hope to get up there this year. http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/rmv/iron_...ert/index.html

I like it when you are able to look forward through the sunroof.
