I currently own a 99 4runner limited and really like it. Needless to say I have wanted a truck for a while and I may have found a decent deal. I have owned a number of vehicles over the years and it seems there is always a few little things that bother me about each (brakes, gas mileage, etc...). For you current Taco owners...what are your likes and dislikes?

Normal wear and tear items dont bother me because its one of the joys of owning a vehicle. If you take care of those things youll enjoy many miles to come.

I guess what I meant...was more model specific quirks that different vehicles have. Not necessarily wear and tear parts...

The 03 and 04 Tacomas have a drive by wire throttle body which has caused some problems. Also be aware that there is a frame rust problem with the Tacomas. More info on that : http://www.ttora.com/forum/showthread.php?t=95993 around about page 70 they started the 01-04 frame replacement deal.
