Manual Hub Conversion
Is it still possible to do the manual hub conversion with stock toy rims, or do you need aftermarket wheels. Does anyone have this setup?
What do you prefer: Aisin or Warn?

Denk, those wheels came factory on many '86 and on up IFS trucks & 4Runners, and many also came factory with the Aisin hubs with those wheels.
Not a problem at all.
I have pics of Todd's '88 4Runner and Jim's '89 truck with Aisin hubs and SR5 wheels on my website.

The stock rims just look a little funky without the stock, plastic hub covers. But you can do what Victor did...he used a Dremel to hollow the top out so the stock hub covers would work on his manual hubs.
Me? I got a pair of factory metal hub covers made for the manual hubs on Ebay for $6.

Not a close-up, but Jim just left the outer cap part off.
