MALL Crawlers
How can you tell if YotaTechers are at the MALL?????
Answer - They just are not capable of parking like the masses.....LOL
Another shot of the "YotaTech Parking Technique". This is the "BKM"=
"Best Known Method" for parking at the Mall. No one else will park anywhere near you. You will not
have to worry about -Door Dings and Shopping Cart damage from other people parking next to you.
:pat:
Also, a true YotaTecher would rather check out other Runners than even
go into the Mall. Here, Albuquerque Jim ponders over the Mods he has just seen. He is focused on
a new front bumper and could care less about shopping.

Here's a shot of Jim's Runner. He has just installed the RB Body lift
and didn't have a chance to put the front bumper back
on before meeting Loosehead and me for lunch yesterday.
Note the new black Rock crawler wheels and 285 BFG Mud
terrain Tires.
Here's a shot of my Runner with the new wheels and Revos
This one shows Loosehead's Red Runner. He just removed the stock fender
flares in preparation for installing the Bushwacker Flares he just ordered.
Albuquerque Jim, Loosehead and I met for lunch yesterday and spent a
good hour and a half just checking out each others Mods.
We haven't had all 3 Runners together for about a year. It's
amazing the transition since then. All are lifted and have more
additional Mods than we had time to check out.

Nice pics, I really think we should have taken some shots crawling on the boulders in the landscaping too.
I do the same thing G. In fact, last night we went out to dinner and I found my perfect parking spot. On the left side a curb (no door dings) on the right side a stock 4Runner. :

And, as far as Jeeps go, I don't understand.

I think the plain ol' jeeps like these...
... with a nice lift and tires are pretty cool and I wouldn't mind owning one. But Cherokees and Libertys are Those I don't understand.

I went out with a group of Jeepers once in my stock 4Runner with the stock Michelin LTX ATs, these are all street tires.. I was getting heckled so friggin bad in the beginning. In the end however, they were amazed at how far up the trail I was able to go, all without a locker.
I'll chose Toyota over a heep anyday. I just wish we had solid axles and all the aftermarket parts choices they do. If you're serious about hard core wheeling, you have to consider that aspect as well.

Jeep wranglers I don't really have a problem with.. Cherokees are iffy and I hate the libertys... But if i would have a jeep I would want my uncles old army jeep Now that is one bad ass jeep though hard to find parts for.. He is always on the look out for other old army jeeps for parts.

Getting back on topic...
Enough talk about heeps...
Here's a couple of my pics...
Notice the blatant use of the mall signs in my pics...
We sure conquered the curbs in style!

If you are wondering, the bumper is back on again. And I re-mounted my aux back ups in the 1" space between my rear bumper and the hitch. It's all good! and best of all my wife didn't even notice the 1" difference.
