Maintinence Light Just Came On This Morning
The maint light just came on this morning, and am kinda pissed about it. I am thinking that since i just hit 5000 miles and i had my first oil change last week, could it be a reminder of the oil change that they didn't reset. Now, if it is, is there a way that i can reset it.
And second question. Switching from 1st to 2nd in the automatic trans. it would rev to like, 1500 rpms before it grabs the gear and jolts the car. Is that a normal occurnece for a the 2004's or is this a warrenty issue
Thanks for the help, that is if i get any

Basically, going from 1st to 2nd the trani grabs at about 1500 rpms. It is very noticeable in traffic and in the parking garage. I would step on the gas and it would rev up then grab second gear, kinda throwing your head back a little
