Lowering Spare Tire with Body lift...
I have a 1" RB body lift on my 3rd gen 4Runner and now I am unable to lower my spare tire! The crank won't go into the spot to lower the tire down.
How do I fix this? Help please...

the mechanism could be turned from underneath if you could get something with a large flat tip that is kinda short......might be hard to turn tho. the jack handle gives you a much better grip.

Yeah, pull up the plastic bumper part- you should be able to feed the rod through that gap into the lowering hole.

You can do one of two things:
EDIT²:The link (and text) in Roger's instructions reference the thread posted above.
- Remove the rear bumper valance (plastic cover) to access the spare tire carrier.
OR
- Change the angle of the rear tire carrier.
