Low Profile Muffler...Spin Tech!

Has anyone ever heard of these: http://www.spintechmufflers.com/spin...ntechindex.asp

I'm interested mainly for increasing my ground clearance on that side of my vehicle. Has anyone ever noticed how big the stock muffler is? Is crazy how big that thing is, and it would be awesome to be able to tuck a muffler up higher than the frame rails, wouldn't it?

I've emailed them to find out the flow rates of the mufflers too, so stay tuned!

i bought one from a local car shop for 80 dollars and couldnt be more happy with it. Seriously at first i wasnt expecting much out of this muffler because i had never heard of it before, but bought it because it was fairly cheap and the guy recommended it over flowmasters. When i had it put on i DID notice an increase in horsepower, and boy does it sound good.

How'd you get it for $80, because their site says over $120 I think for the cruiser model, which is the low profile model.

ya im sorry, your right i dont have the cruiser series so it will be a little more expensive. Why you want such low profile though, the one i have is pretty small as it is.

See in that picture it looks like the muffler is still a tad below the frame rails, but I could be wrong. What I'm interested in this "Cruiser Series" muffler for is to raise the height of my exhaust and still have anough room to possibly move the lower control arm mount from the bottom of the frame rail to the inside and up on the side of the frame rail so I don't get hung up on rocks anymore.

If I really move around the exhaust tubing, the muffler and tubing will really leave me a lot of room to work with. It is expensive through, in comparison to what most people have.

You're not causing any problems - I just doubt you will get much information from this thread.

I'm assuming you found this thread via a search?
