Low Profile Bumps + Discos... Need manual hubs??
I have been trying to answer my own question with the search but can't seem to find the right wording and when i can find an article its about using manual hubs when cranking the T-Bars. I thought i recalled someone saying that manual hubs are needed if one goes with disco's and or low profile bumpstops but im not sure. I'm not familiar with manual hubs and wonder what one has to do to engage them if i get some and what differences it will make when wheeling. Im in TN and see ALOT of mud and the occasionaly log but only a few rocks. Thanks

Well to engage them you stop, get out of the truck and turn the dial on each hub.
No they are not required for discos or low bump stops. Those mods will have no effect on-road and off-road in 4wd the hubs will be engaged anyway.
The reason they are recommended for cranked t-bars is to save wear and tear on the CV's which turn all the time with live hubs. With the manual hubs you can disengage them and your front CV's won't turn while in 2wd.
