Low fuel light not working

I did the sr5 guage cluster swap on my truck and everything wokrs great except the low fuel light. Has anyone had this problem? I read on another board that it is actually the sensor that is in the fuel tank that needs to be replaced. anybody know about this?

Yeah, I had to have one replaced on my Taco...it's called the Fuel sending unit. They did mine under warranty. It involves taking the tank off and putting a new sensor in. Sounds like a PITA!!! Good luck. I would also search the forum for similar problems just in case that is not it.
