Hello, I have not been around in sometime but glad to see you are all still here. I bought a set of HID from CQlight.ca the other day and have fit them in the 4runner. However I do not get any High beams. I purchased the Hi/lo package. The Hi beam is just a Halogen but I thought it might be good to get working.

What I noticed with the facotry wiring:

3wires. One wire has 12 v when you turn the headlight switch on.
1 wire has/had 12 v when low beam on.
1 wire has/had 12 v when hi beam switch on.

The two wires that control hi and low beam have no voltage now. I have wired a relay into the HID and am running them off the battery. Definelty the way to run them. I can not figure out why I lost voltage at the other two wires now. The main 12v is turning on the relay that fires the HIDs.

Any ideas? I have checked all the fuses and they are good. It seems aas though I blew something but am lost on where to look.
