If thats what you want, go for it.
Try to talk em down on price, obviously.
I'm not crazy about 3rd gens, but if i were in the market that
would seriously be one I'd consider

i bought my 99 with 134k for 7500. not a bad deal, it was from denver, which makes it a steal. its a good price but id shoot him for 7200. higher miles and is the clutch replaced? brakes? tires? timing chain?? those are the things that are expensive and not worth it if they arent in good condition. tires alone is 1k. e-locker is nice though too.

Sounds like a money deal. I'd check out those things stated above and try to shoot down the price to save you some coin.

Sounds like a fair to good price if it's in good condition for those miles and it's a Highlander model which makes it slightly rarer to begin with and a 5 speed to boot.

How can I tell if it's a Highlander model? I don't think this guy knows.

Yeah, I think it's a little steep pricewise but if it is in good condition, it is a good truck. My 97 was really clean had the auto and E-locker with 127K on it and I bought it last April for $8K from a private party.

the 5spd coupled with the v6 isnt a common combination so if youre interested in that i would seriously consider it. a toyota isnt even getting broken in until 150k so i wouldnt worry about the miles. you got all the goodies one could want in a toyota and the 3rd gen body style is a keeper. its sleek and sporty, very fun to drive. it gets good gas mileage if youre good to it. i get 20mpg with my 5spd. i would definitely consider it.

double check the maintenance and get a copy of the record if you can.. if they do not have a record then ask them where they get their maint done and get that place to print you out a history of the vehicle.. i would do that first now that you know the truck "looks" good.. also try to get them down on price... cry about mileage hahaha
