lookin at a rig, what so you all think
Hey all, I am lookin at a rig and I am just wondering what you guys think
1985 toy stndr cab
new gm crate 350 from ryan engine exchange
new edelbrock performance carb
msd cap, coils, distribuor
holley fuel pump
etc
flex lite fan, and a black magic fan
really a good engine set up, runs great!! all with only 600 miles on it!
lifted way high, not too sure on the hieght, but it has 36" super swampers at about 40% tread
mickey thompson classic wheels
all pro cross over/hy steer
new ifs steering box
new gear bearings
nice paint etc
th400 tranny
np-205
chevy rear springs
rancho 9000's
All was done in a shop by a pro, no garage hoaky stuff at all
now for the bad:
just a lot of little stuff
doors don't seal all the way
has power windows but they are really slow
passenger side window doesn't stay in its track
needs a new windshield
wipers are a little jacked, the motor just stops sometimes
its just falls out if you push it too hard
need a stereo
essentailly needs a dash, there are no heater controls or anything, its all missing, just a toggle swith thats hooked up to an aftermarket heater, so no direction just straight in your face, means no defrost too
So he is asking 5000, its a great trail rig that would be a good dd, but the interior needs some work and a little work to make it a bit more quiet on the road like door seals and whatnot
so figure it need a new dash, and little stuff like that
do you guys think it is worth it?
I know it is hard to say, but basically he has 13,000 in it and just needs out of it, so I am thinking about it, but need to know if it is worth it, and if so is it maybe worth a bit more, say 8000 or so beacuse I would really like to make a buck and get something else
just for the record I am needing a work truck in two weeks or so, so if I can sell this truck for more than my truck (5000) then that would be good becsue then I could get a nicer truck like a ford f-250 orsomething, so do you all think that a truck like this with really a lot done to it would sell easily again within two weeks for like closer to 6000 or 8000, or should I just say forget it and sell my toyota for 5000 and call it good and get a crappier work truck, which i need in bout two weeks
thanks a lot

sorry no pics, no rust, I forgot, that might not be the right tranny, but it is something like that, headers too, flowmasters, however as far as underbody, it has all been painted, and the body has no rust, in fact it is almost perfect, with new paint
