Thumbs up Look what I got finished today!!

Well she is back togather and moving again.. Do you see the snow/ice?? WTF!! it is April already.. I am glad I have a full set of Mass. Electric rain gear.. (Won't say how though)

Well there it is, new polyureathane lower control arm bushings, new shocks, new poly bushings for the sway bar, all new low profile bump stops, I even painted the control arms..

Oh, and I finaly swaped out that CV with the ripped boot!!

I will post more detail and info on the swaybar links later.. The "insiders" get that info first..

Dude.. I did my sawsall time. I ran that saw for a solid 8 hours to cut them off.. (and I spent probably another 4 hours with torches and drills getting the new sleeves out of the doner control arms)

I also have to use a 4' pyrbar and a 5lb sledge to beat the frame mounts enough just to get to them with a sawsall... (dang rocks...)

NEXT MOD.. Budbulit crossmember!! (Should be here next week)

Skid plate?? Bud left me a teaser in my e-mail.. He has me wondering if I am getting a present in my order? A demo maybe?? Maybe he was just checking if I had a skidplate or not...

I have to tell you though, my back is killing me!! I have Osteoarthritis in my back from a car accident that fractured 3 verterbra in my back.. laying on frozen ground with a layer of ice/sleet for a whole day is not the best thing for it..

Oh, here is a photo of the "links" being mounted and the lock colar getting a dab of lock tight (the vice grip is on a sleeve, not the bolt itself...)

And here is a photo of my storage box I picked up tonight to put all the stuff to build the links in.. (Not bad for $5.00, Eh?)

Weeelap, the cinder block was really just a "if sheat hits the fan" back up.. I did have the front crossmember held with jack stands that were sitting on boards.. But I just wanted something in case it fell somehow.. I was way too much under the control arms for my liking...

BTW, my mom was from the deep south..
