Locker won't disengage
Well I finally got my locker to work with a little bit of luck. Now the damn thing won't disengage. I've tried almost everything, but it still stays locked. It is even locked right now in 2wd. Any ideas?

yeah the bumper and winch will be staying hopefully. if not just the winch will be coming with me. i'd like to have an arb for the taco if i get it. the only reason i'm consider trading is to get rid of my current 517.69 mnth payment. i can get into that taco for under 350 mnth

Wow, almost a $200 difference.
It might be worth it.
Is the Taco E locker equipped?
One think to consider.
Your current winch will not work with an ARB or TJM bumper.
Your winch is the "i" model with the integrated solenoid.
With the above bumpers you mush use a winch that has the external solenoid pack like mine does.
Either the M8000, XD9000 (mine) or the one that 44Runner runs which is a 9500 lb rating.

I'm not sure if it has a locker or not. I'll find out this afternoon. That $350 payment is a hell of alot better than $517 a month. Oh man I'd like to keep my winch. Hrmmm.....

Take the bumper & winch, it should work with the Taco.
If you don't have the original bumper anymore, hurry up and find one
Or work out a deal with them to order one from parts to put back on your 3rd gen.
I'd hate to see you give up the bumper & winch at trade in time.
To replace both will be over $1,200.

yeah i still have the orginal bumper somewhere. all i'd probably need to order is some front corner lights. I dremel'd mine out and turned them into turn signals. i wonder if i should keep my saws also? the suspension kit i'm looking at for the Taco is the Trailmaster 6".
