Little Help Please

Hey all of you with tranny coolers, can you please let me know which one you went with (ie, make model number) I cannot seem to find an educated source and I really do not want to go through the trial an error for two reasons...I do not have the time as I am leaving to go out of town and it is over 100 degrees here and I do not need the aggravation of installing something that does not work. Anyhow, as always I appreciate your help...By the way, first person to tell me to use search gets a "NO GROUP BUY FOR YOU" (in the voice of the soup nazi from Seinfeld)

Have a great one guys...thanks for the help!

I went with the TRD tranny cooler..
Some "universal" tranny coolers use zip ties to mount them, I personally don't trust that which is one of the reasons I went with TRD.

I went with the TRD tranny cooler for the ease of installation.

The most popular one I have seen others use is the Hayden Stacked Plate Cooler, ~11' x 11', part #0679

Hope this helps.

Mike:

Im running the extra heavy duty 30,000 lbs Hayden. It's size is not that much bigger and cools alot better than the TRD. Go with Hayden. They make them for TRD but about 1/3 of the price.

Only $52 versus Toyotas rediculus price for the same brand(and smaller).

Let me know if you want to take a look at mine. Here's a link for you:

Sure now everyone responds after I made my decision!!! LOL

Anyhow, I knew about the Hayden, however, when I spoke to different places about it, they gave me a weird look, kinda as if I was speaking another language...After debating and debating, I hose to go with the TRD for the simple reason of installation. I know I paid a lot for ease of installation, however, I really need this bad boy on in a short period of time. Anyhow, we will see how this one does...if in the future I change, I am sure I can use some or all of the hardware and just swap out the core...So you would think.

As always, thank you to everyone who responded! Wishing you a great Holiday!!

Mike
