Little help on alarm install
Last night someone busted out my window and took everything out of my glove box, Wow they got a $25.00 power invertor. Anyway I am going to install an alarm. I have installed a few alarms in the past but I would just get the prewired door locks harness so I did not have to test any door lock wires. Well they don't make them for my 4runner. Does anybody know in detail how to wire an aftermarket alarm to the door lock system in an 02 4runner?

I can't help you much here but try askin on toyota-4runner.org. they have an electronics section. I've seen a bunch of ppl doing alarm installed over there.

The Toyota RS3200-Plus is an OK alarm and it wires right into everything. It's super cheap too, I think I bought mine new for $50.
Note: to use the RS3200-Plus you need to have powered door locks
