Limited slip better in mud/dirt/stone paths than locker?

Would an LSD be better than a full locker for mud, dirt, and gravel paths???

I definitely don't have supreme knowledge...but I would say "Nope".

I think a full-locker beats an LSD hands-down, everytime. The only advantage I can see in an LSD is the fact that it's automatic...no need to think about it (also can be harmfull if it's working when you don't want it to work).

I am not sure what you mean by an advantage, but I would have never chosen my old True-Trac over my current ARB in mud, dirt, rocks or anything.

I would definitely take the ARB in the snow as the True-Trac liked to fishtail pretty easily in snow.
