Limited slip for 96 4Runner rear...
After blowing the R&P on the rear of my 96, I'm not going to take any chances with the true-trac. The bolts holding the body together are coming out (seen this before on a post here, I think but I can't find it right now), so it's not going back in the truck. I LOVE the design of the True-trac, but the quality has gone down hill to the point I can't trust it. So I need a carrier...
And I don't need a locker...
This is a DD that sees Ice and Snow and Zero wheeling...

I want a limited slip and not a locker nor selectable locker - I just don't need a locker for a DD vehicle, especially one that sees snow and ice.
As for what happened, we're not yet sure. I suspect it has something to do with the true-trac pulling apart, but just no clue. Click on the link I posted above to see the carnage - including the third that is no longer usable.
