Limited flares
Anyone ever take off their Limited flares and leave them off? I know there will be holes left, and holes in the doors behind that moulding. I really prefer the look of the black SR5 flares or no flares at all. These flares are just too big and they hide the tires. My theory was I could take off the flares and moulding, then weld the holes shut and touch up the paint. Anyone have any pics flareless? Thanks.

once you fill it all up, it should look like any other 4Runner without the flares... Carefully remove everything and I bet you can sell it for a pretty good amount.

If I decide to take them off, I would sell them. I have the matching running boards too. Everything is paint matched silver, millenium silver I think.

Keep in mind that the flares are mainly attached to the body via through the body. I removed my flares once and was left with CHOKE {plenty} holes about 3 - 4 inches above the wheelwell line. There are holes to secure from the bottom to under the wheelwell but the main attachments are through the body. Just wanted to pass the info, BB.

those sr5 style flares won't cover the limited's holes.
