Limited Climate Control Question

Limited Climate Control Question
I've had my climate control rebuilt and it appears to be working well with one possible exception. When I press the "Out/T" button, the recirculation function comes on as well. I don't recall it doing this before, but I'm not 100% sure. If you have a 3rd gen with the auto climate control can you check this function? I want to know if I just overlooked this behavior or the repair actually crossed a wire or two.

Mine doesn't do that on my 99, I push it to check the temp once a day. If I remember right, It will change to recirculate if the outside temp is higher than the inside set point though.

I had mine done by these guys; http://www.autoecu.com.
@ Greg_Canada - does yours exhibit the behavior I mentioned in the original post?

Nah, my auto button RARELY works, A/C i have to hit it 20 times, and the out / mode / off buttons work when i hit them a few times. i cant change the recirculation, it only does it automatically based off what temp i set the knobs to (the knobs work fine)...

No, certainly nothing else should change when you hit the Outside temp button.
I have fixed my unit several times and have always found the problem to be the small surface mount resistor networks under the LCD screen inside the unit. It is rare that the buttons themselves are the culprit. Basically I run a very fine soldering point across all legs of these networks and resolder them.
